Setner, Chrisman gain NLC hoops honors
Goodman-Pembine juniors receive honorable mention
Truth Setner
Florence senior Truth Setner was named to the first team in All-Conference boys basketball selections announced by the Northern Lakes Conference.
Florence sophomore Carson Chrisman was named to the second team.
Easton Lurvey of Three Lakes was named Offensive Player of the Year while Cooper Albrecht of conference champion Laona-Wabeno was Defensive Player of the Year.
Joining Setner, Lurvey and Albrecht on the first team were Deegan Kircher of Crandon and Canton Chrisman of Laona-Wabeno.
Setner was the only senior on the first team. Lurvey is a sophomore and the rest are juniors. All five were unanimous picks.
Along with Chrisman, the second team included seniors Levi Lurvey of Three Lakes, Brody LeMaster of Crandon and Boone VanOoyen and Walker Winkelman of Laona-Wabeno.
Goodman-Pembine juniors Brayden Lewis and Vinnie Ipsa earned honorable mention. Others receiving honorable mention were Laona-Wabeno sophomore Carson Lemerande, Three Lakes junior Owen Liebscher and Three Lakes sophomore Sam Koshuta.
