Macy Linsenbigler

Iron Mountain graduate and two-sport athlete Macy Linsenbigler collected several honors at Gogebic Community College’s athletic awards banquet, including Most Valuable Player in girls basketball.

Linsenbigler, a freshman, averaged 15.4 points and 12.3 rebounds per game for the Samsons, who finished 14-11 on the season.

Linsenbigler also received National Junior College Athletic Association Region 13 recognition as a first-team all-region selection.

She collected the Anchor Award at the Ironwood school for the most rebounds in basketball and was recognized in volleyball as the team’s kill leader.
