GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers officially announced the trade of receiver Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday.
The Packers will receive a 2026 fifth-round pick — originally owned by the Atlanta Falcons — and a 2027 sixth-round pick.
Philadelphia is signing Wicks to a one-year, $12.5 million extension, according to nfl.com.
Wicks leaves the Packers with 108 career receptions, 1,328 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns logged over three seasons. He’s exiting a crowded receiver room that includes Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and 2025 first-rounder Matthew Golden, a group that welcomed Skyy Moore via free agency and also includes Bo Melton and Savion Williams.
Wicks turns 25 in June.
The Eagles will enter the draft with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith as their top receivers, and Wicks is expected to be in the mix for the No. 3 spot with Hollywood Brown, Johnny Wilson and Darius Cooper.
The trade could make Brown more expendable. The Eagles have listened to offers for the three-time Pro Bowler. Brown had 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns last season while repeatedly expressing frustration over his role in the offense.
