Florence defeated Laona-Wabeno for a second time this season, posting a 3-1 road win Tuesday in Northern Lakes Conference baseball.

Mason Koski pitched 5 2/3 shutout innings for the Bobcats, scattering four hits, walking four and whiffing 10. Bradly Steber protected a 3-0 lead in relief, holding the Rebels to a single run in the bottom of the seventh. Steber allowed one hit, walked two and fanned one.

Koski and Steber rapped two hits apiece as Florence plated a run in the first inning and two more in the third. The Bobcats also got singles from Carter Reed, Kolton Campbell and Kade Larson.

Cooper Albrecht and Levi Shepard each collected two hits for Laona-Wabeno.
