KHS salutes MVPs, senior athletes

Jack Kriegl was named male athlete of the year and Cassie Olson was named female athlete of the year at Kingsford High School.

Jack Kriegl was named male athlete of the year and Cassie Olson was named female athlete of the year at Kingsford High School.

KINGSFORD -- Three-sport senior athletes Jack Kriegl and Cassie Olson were named the male and female athletes of the year in awards announced by Kingsford High School.
Kriegl was also named the most valuable player in baseball and boys basketball, while Olson was both the volleyball and girls track MVP.
Other MVPs saluted were:
-- Blake Tomasoski, football.
-- Aubrie Moore, girls tennis, girls basketball and girls soccer.
-- Ingrid Holt, girls cross country and skiing.
-- Lyam Schooler, boys cross country.
-- Landon Adam, boys soccer and boys tennis.
-- Jordan Maenpaa, cheer.
-- Will Murvich, hockey.
-- Connor White, wrestling.
-- Madelyn Zeuske, girls golf.
-- Jordan Bray, boys golf.
-- Mya Brunswick, softball.
MHSAA scholar athlete awards were presented to Olson, Zeuske, Adam and Kriegl, as well as Owen Edwards, Jack Olson and Evan Scott.
