Florence rallied to 5-4 win over Three Lakes/Phelps in Northern Lakes Conference softball Thursday, putting both teams one game behind Crandon in the race for first place.

Florence’s win at home avenged a 15-11 loss at Three Lakes earlier this season. The LadyCats will host Crandon on Tuesday.

Trailing 4-2, Florence plated three runs in the bottom of the sixth against the Bluejays. Singles by Quinn Cassidy Taylor Pauley, Alaina Tibbs and Callie Reed, along with a Leah Baker double, fueled the comeback.

Sami Demuri earned the win and aided her own cause with a single and double. She struck out five, going a full seven innings.

Pauley went 2-for-2 at the plate and was hit by a pitch and scored. Florence’s Miley VanDenHeuvel and Ashley Peterson also punched singles.

Starting at $3.50/week.
