Kara Stanchina, a senior at Norway High School, has signed a celebratory National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career by playing softball at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wis. Stanchina, who plays middle infield, has been a key contributor to the Norway softball program throughout her high school career and was named to the All-State first team. She set five school records, including career strikeouts pitched. “I am so grateful to have the opportunity to play at the next level and I could have never got here without all the support from my family, coaches, and friends,” said Stanchina, who plans to major in pre-medicine.
