Florence trailed Lena 2-1 going into the bottom of the fifth inning but it was all Bobcats after that in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal Tuesday at Florence.

The Bobcats won 12-2 in six innings to advance to today’s regional final in Fish Creek against Gribraltor-Washington Island.

Against Lena, Carter Reed’s triple to right field ignited a six-run fifth inning for Florence. Logan McCoy, Kolton Campbell, Beau Bartz and Bradly Steber all followed with singles.

Mason Koski earned the win on the mound, scattering three hits, walking one and striking out seven.

Florence totaled 10 hits, including a triple and single by Koski. Also hitting singles were Promice Setner, Carson Chrisman and Kade Larson. The Bobcats were patient at the plate, drawing seven walks.

In another WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal Tuesday, Wabeno-Laona defeated Niagara 4-0.
