ESCANABA — The U.P. Sports Hall of Fame All-Star Basketball Classic takes place today at Bay College.

The evening begins with the finals of the skills competition at 5 p.m. Eastern time. Players will compete in a free throw, three-point, and dunk competition.

The girls North-South All-Star game tips off at about 5:30 p.m. The boy’s game will follow and is scheduled to start at around 7:30 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the door. All proceeds will benefit the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame.

Norway’s Lauren Adams and Forest Park’s Elsie Williams will play for the South girls.

The South boys roster includes Kingsford’s Owen Olkkonen and North Dickinson’s Ty King.
