Florence earns top NLC baseball honors

Florence High School junior Mason Koski was named co-Player of the Year in Northern Lakes Conference baseball, sharing the honor with Laona-Wabeno junior Cooper Albrecht.

Florence’s Kris Johnson was named Coach of the Year as the Bobcats shared the conference title with Laona-Wabeno and Crandon.

Koski was joined by two Florence teammates on the All-Conference first team — juniors Bradly Steber and Carter Reed.

Florence sophomore Kade Larson was named to the All-NLC second team, along with Goodman-Pembine sophomore Matt Kaiser.

Koski and Steber were unanimous first-team picks, along with Laona-Wabeno’s Albrecht and senior Walker Winkelman; Crandon senior Cruz Palubicki; Elcho senior Joshua Eighmy; and Three Lakes-Phelps senior Cruz Melton.

Other first-team selections were Deegan Kircher and Trent Palubicki of Crandon and Levi Shepard and Reagan Roy of Laona-Wabeno.

Starting at $4.00/week.
