Norway’s Burklund named Skyline’s Player of the Year

ESCANABA — The Skyline Central Conference released its All-Conference teams and awards for the 2026 softball season.
Norway sophomore Kendall Burklund was named Player of the Year and Kaet Erickson, a senior from Bark River-Harris, was Offensive Player of the Year.
Khole Roberts, a sophomore from North Dickinson was named Defensive Player of the Year.
Forest Park sophomore Lauren Hobson received the Sportsmanship Award.
Earning All-Conference first team honors were Norway’s Jordyn Moln and Lilly Tomlanovich, Forest Park’s Tessa Bartoszek, and North Dickinson’s Alyson Steinbrecher.

Placed on the second team were Aspen Anderson of North Dickinson, Addyson Burklund and Payton Paquette of Norway, and Jessie Loehr of Forest Park.
Special mention went to Jonnie Ketola of Forest Park, Lila Moraska and Kara Stanchina of Norway, and Ava Oman of North Dickinson.
Earning honorable mention were Norway’s Tessa Castelaz, Forest Park’s Lauren Hobson and North Dickinson’s Dalaney Steinbrecher.
