Iron Mountain and Norway are scheduled to play at 6 p.m. Eastern time today in an elimination game at the Michigan Little League District 10 Minors (ages 8-10) baseball tournament at Gladstone Sports Park.

The IM-Norway winner will meet undefeated Gladstone at 6 p.m. Tuesday. If Gladstone should lose, a winner-take-all title game will be played at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Kingsford defeated Norway in a tournament opener 5-4 on Thursday, but lost to Gladstone 13-9 on Friday.

Norway, meanwhile, advanced through the loser’s bracket with wins against Escanaba, 1-0, and Tri-County (Trenary), and then eliminated Kingsford 5-2 on Sunday. Kingsford had advanced in the loser’s bracket with a win over Iron County.

Iron Mountain opened with wins over Iron County, 12-8, and Tri-County, 21-6. Gladstone sent Iron Mountain into the loser’s bracket with a 9-6 victory Sunday.

The state tournament opens July 24 in Harbor Springs.
