Thomas Entertainment in Quinnesec will host a fundraising event from 4 to 8 p.m. today for the Kingsford Majors (ages 10-12) Little League baseball team, which will play in the state tournament beginning Friday, July 24, in Tecumseh.
The District 10 championship team will receive a police escort out of town from Kingsford High School beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Thomas Entertainment is part of Tri-City Cinemas 8 in Quinnesec.
