After opening with a loss against Escanaba on Sunday, Norway advanced through the loser’s bracket Monday with a 6-0 win against Kingsford in the Michigan District 10 Little League Minors (ages 8-10) softball tournament.

Local Park in Kingsford is the site for the four-team tourney.

Escanaba has advanced to the championship game, defeating Gladstone 10-3 on Monday. Norway was to face Gladstone in an elimination game Tuesday.

The championship game is set for 5 p.m. today. If Escanaba is defeated, the title will be decided at 5 p.m. Thursday.
