Kali Stanchina of Norway, a senior shortstop at Carroll University, was named to the Academic All-District team by the College Sports Communicators.
The award marked Stanchina’s second Academic All-District honor. She was one of only two Pioneers softball players named in 2026.
“A steady presence in the infield, she has been a consistent contributor throughout her time with the program while maintaining a strong commitment to academic success,” the university said.
Stanchina was also among 89 Carroll University student-athletes receiving Academic All-Conference recognition for the spring season in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin.
The Pioneers softball team finished 18-21 overall, with Stanchina posting a .333 on-base percentage in her senior season.
Carroll University is located in Waukesha, Wis.
