Stateline Challenge Friday at Norway

NORWAY — The Stateline Challenge at Norway Speedway on Friday will honor Speedway Hall of Famer Gene Coleman with a three-race cumulative format.

The event will total 119 laps with 3 segments of 40-39-40 laps. The winner will have the lowest total after adding up the position of finishes in the three segments.

The racing program will feature fireworks, a flyover, and NASCAR Truck series champion Johnny Sauter, driving No. 19. Dalton Zehr, winner of an ASA Midwest Tour race at Norway last month, is also in the field.

The flyover at 6:55 p.m. features Vincent Quadrani piloting his A-26 Silver Dragon.

The Kent Pearson and Roy Allard Memorial Night is sponsored by Aurora Liquors. The Stateline Challenge is powered by Stateline Chevrolet-Corvette-GMC of Iron County.

Grandstands open at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 7.
