Bocce teams advance to league playoffs

Eight teams will square off Thursday, Aug. 27, to decide the Dickinson Area Bocce Association
men’s championship
DABA wrapped up the regular season last week at Iron Mountain City Park with Best Shot Billiards claiming the top spot in the Tuesday league and Team Cav prevailing in Thursday’s circuit.
Best Shot was followed by Bimbo’s, Four Seasons and Covenant II. Thursday night action saw Pisoni, Ericksons and Bergeron Motors rounding out the top four.
The eight squads will now advance to the finals tournament at the park’s Ray Mariucci Courts.
Also coming up is the Lisa Lundy blind draw tournament on Sept. 7 and the Fall Shootout singles tournament on Sept. 19. Call Dave at 262-227-7252 to sign up.
