At Iron Mountain on Friday, the Mountaineers got singles wins against West Iron from Alysia Wood and Ella Theisen, while Penelope Geneva and Juliana Saldana prevailed at No. 2 doubles.
West Iron claimed a singles victory at No. 3 from Ashlynn Nichols. Doubles winners were Marlee Benson and Rochelle Bear, along with Vivian Holm and Reese Ahola.
Kingsford will open its season hosting West Iron on Thursday.
