Packers plan watch party for Sept. 13 opener

With the Green Bay Packers opening the 2026 season on the road against Minnesota on Sunday, Sept. 13, the team will host a free Season Kickoff Watch Party at Titletown.
The festivities will include live music starting at 11:25 a.m. at the base of Ariens Hill, with Shotgun Jane set to perform. Packers alumni Evan Smith and Jarrett Bush will also be interacting with fans at the base of Ariens Hill starting at 1:15 p.m. before taking the main stage for questions at 2:45 p.m. prior to the 3:25 p.m. kickoff.
Registration is required to attend the free event. Attendees can secure their spot by registering on packers.com.
The Packers will close out the preseason at 7 p.m. Friday against the Arizona Cardinals after improving to 1-1 with a 33-13 win at Denver.
On Friday against the Broncos, Jordan Love drove Green Bay on a 12-play, 63-yard touchdown drive in his only series. He capped it with an 11-yard touchdown throw to MarShawn Lloyd for a 7-0 lead.
Former University of Colorado receiver Will Sheppard’s toe-dragging 2-yard touchdown catch from Tyrod Taylor gave Green Bay a 17-10 lead and Trey Smack kicked field goals of 59 and 44 yards sandwiched around Mark Perry’s interception of Broncos backup Jarrett Stidham’s pass to send Green Bay into halftime with a 23-10 lead. Smack connected on four-of-four field goals in all.
