Stateline Challenge tonight at Norway

Grandstands open at 5 p.m. today and racing begins at 7 as Norway Speedway hosts the Stateline Challenge.
This year’s Stateline Challenge will honor Speedway Hall of Famer Gene Coleman with a three-race cumulative format. The event will total 119 laps with 3 segments of 40-39-40 laps. The winner will have the lowest total after adding up the position of finishes in the three segments.
Penn Sauter of Deforest, Wis., son of former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion Johnny Sauter, and the current ASA Midwest Tour points leader, is among the expected competitors.
The event is sponsored by Coca-Cola, Werner Electric, Anderson Auto & RV and Aurora Liquors. It features the Kent Pearson and Roy Allard Memorial races.
Tonight also includes Round 4 of the Fast Five Series.
