West Iron swept Munising but fell to Westwood 7-1 in girls tennis action in Ishpeming Township on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the Wykons hosted Ishpeming and recorded a 5-3 win.
Against Westwood, West Iron’s Grace Smith prevailed at No. 1 singles, defeating Lyn Magnuson 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.
Getting singles wins against Munising were Smith, Haleigh LaMay and Ashlynn Nichols. Doubles winners included the teams of Marlee Benson and Rochelle Bear; Jenna Sunn and Gabrielle Porier; and Vivian Holm and Reese Ahola.
Smith was again a victor against Ishpeming, while Sunn and Porier, along with Holm and Ahola, teamed up for doubles triumphs.
