Bark River-Harris stayed undefeated in the West-PAC Iron division with 38-33 win over Iron Mountain on Friday at Mountaineer Stadium.
The Broncos piled up 380 yards rushing.
“I am proud of our team’s effort,” said Iron Mountain coach Kyle Johnson. “Our guys prepared well all week, but we came up short. At the end of the day, the team that ran the ball better won the game.”
The Mountaineers had 261 yards of offense -- much of it coming through the air. Iron Mountain’s Brayden Kassin completed 11 of 24 for 157 yards and three TDs. He also had two rushing touchdowns.
Gavin Winters hauled in two touchdown catches and Charles Anderson had one.
“Give Bark River credit, they are well coached and have one of the best offensive lines in the U.P.,” Johnson said. “We are looking forward to L’Anse and hoping to get back into the win column.”
Iron Mountain (1-2, 1-1) goes on the road Friday to face the Purple Hornets (2-1, 2-0), who are coming off a 54-8 loss to Houghton.
