Flivvers take 3 firsts at KHS Invite

Escanaba nipped Kingsford by a single point to capture the Kingsford Invitational tennis tournament on Saturday.

Iron Mountain, Ironwood, West Iron and Norway also competed.

Kingsford’s Aubrie Moore, at No. 1 singles, and Maddy Sleik, at No. 2 singles, captured first places.

Also finishing first was the Flivvers’ No. 1 doubles team of Mira Johnson and Kylee Woodward.

Kingsford’s Chloe Lanning was second at No. 4 singles and Aubrey Bellmore was third in the No. 3 slot.

The No. 2 doubles team of Natalie Bjorne and Verity Martin placed second. The No. 3 team of Alice Hall and Myla Beauchamp and the No. 4 pairing of Claire Rutter and Alaysa Bacon each placed third.
