Kingsford defeated Marquette 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-19) in girls volleyball Thursday, improving to 9-1 on the season.
“We tried a new offensive rotation and defensive strategy, which had us a bit confused at times -- myself included,” said Flivvers coach Jaclynn Kreider. “We are working through many different possibilities this year to try to find what puts us in the best situation both offensively and defensively. The girls fought through the challenges and I am proud of them for finding a way to overcome the frustrations and not drop a set.”
Kingsford travels to Gladstone on Thursday.
