RAPID RIVER -- Norway bounced back from a loss in the opening match to defeat Rapid River 3-1 in volleyball Tuesday.
The Knights dropped the first set 21-25 before taking control, winning the next three sets 25-10, 25-12 and 25-10.
Addy Burklund led the charge at the net with an aggressive attack and smart play.
"She's a very smart player, and knows how to adjust and get the kill," Knights coach Meghan Rossato said.
Emilee Temrowski also made an impact all over the court, finishing with nine digs and six kills.
Deanna Cruz provided a spark from the service line, recording six aces and helping Norway build a 7-point lead.
"She came in when we needed a little motivation and momentum -- and lead the charge," Rossato said. "I am beyond proud of her. She's been working really hard on her serving game this year."
The Knights traveled to Stephenson on Thursday and will compete in the Forest Park Invitational on Saturday.
