Suring defeated visiting Niagara 3-0 in M & O Conference volleyball action Thursday, but all three sets went into overtime -- 26-24, 30-28 and 26-24.
“There were so many great things that we did,” said Niagara coach Maryellen Allred. “Our defense was flexible and scrappy. However, our offense and serving remained inconsistent … tiny errors here and there are what led to our demise.”
The Badgers are scheduled to play at Florence on Tuesday.
“What I learned about this team is they have a lot of fight in them,” Allred said. “We still have a lot of conference play left to show what we are capable of.”
