ALBION -- Taylor Adams, a senior from Vulcan, is running this semester for Albion College’s cross country team.
This is Adams’s fourth season with the Britons.
“We have a mix of experienced runners and first year runners and it will be exciting to watch all of them carry their competitive nature to the races,” said Lance Coleman, director of Albion’s cross country and track and field programs since 2019. “This fall’s teams will be led by Taylor Adams and Veronica Pannicia on the women’s side,” he added.
The women’s team placed eighth among 12 teams in Saturday’s Bulldog Invitational in Adrian, paced by Casandra Gallagher and Adams. The Britons had five runners in the top 65.
Albion returns to the course on Oct. 17 as they travel to the Jayhawk Invitational in Muskegon.
Adams is majoring in kinesiology – exercise science.
