More than 325 entrants participated in Run Iron Mountain events Saturday.
The Half Marathon drew 55 individual runners, along with six relay teams.
Thirteen-year-old Sebastian Tappy, a Kingsford Middle School student, was the overall Half Marathon winner with a time of 1:31:03.6.
Placing second was Benjamin Backlund of Iron Mountain at 1:34:19.5, running in the age 20-29 group. Third place went to Louis Santini of Chicago, age 40-49 group, at 1:36:31.2.
The top female finisher was Christianna Maule-Tekampe of Loretto, whose time of 1:38:41.4 was good for fourth place overall. She ran in the age 30-39 group. Boyana Popova of Marinette, Wis., was the No. 2 female finisher, followed by Stacey Backhaus of Felch.
Ethan Varvick of Marquette posted the best time in the 10K at 41.16.5. Jessie Surface of Crystal Falls was the fastest female and placed third overall.
The best time in the 5K was 18.50.2, posted by Dominic Tatangelo of Kingsford, an eighth grader at Kingsford Middle School. Ellery Olson of Kingsford, ages 10 and under, was the top female finisher.
The 10K drew 53 entrants and there were 105 finishers in the 5K. The one-mile fun event drew 97 participants.
