US Soccer plans new national women’s club competition

CHESTER, Pa. (AP) — The U.S. Soccer federation announced Wednesday it plans a new national women's club competition that will include teams from the National Women's Soccer League and the Gainbridge Super League. There is no launch date yet for the Arthur M. Blank Crest Cup, which will have a prize pool of $1.5 million.
