LONG LAKE, Wis. — A fishing derby will take place Saturday at Long Lake and Roadhouse 139 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The entry fee is $8 and participants must register by noon. Measure all fish on the lake.

Proceeds go to the Long Lake Association. There will be entertainment at Roadhouse 139 after the event.

Also on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friends of the Wild Rivers Interpretive Center as well as the U.S. Forest Service will host their annual Chili Ski In from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lauterman Shelter nine miles west of Florence on Highway 70.
