MARQUETTE – The Fred Warra Chapter of Trout Unlimited will sponsor a “Fishing After Hours” program at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday at Zephyr Wine Bar + Cafe, 215 S. Front St., Marquette.

Commissioner Dave Nyberg will be on hand to discuss the Michigan Natural Resources Commission in general and, in particular, work related to trout and cold-water fisheries.

Nyberg, of Skandia, was appointed to the commission in 2018 by then-Gov. Rick Snyder. He is the director of corporate engagement at Northern Michigan University.

All who are interested in cold water fisheries and conservation are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
