Iron Mountain 7th grade students in Robin Marttila’s science classes participated in Salmon in the Classroom through the Michigan Department of Natural Resource. Marttila and his two children, Ian, 7th grade, and Ava, 5th grade, released 117 Chinook salmon in the Cedar River in Powers on Wednesday. Wildlife Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, and Norway Springs assisted the program.
