West Shore Fishing Museum invites summer visitors
MENOMINEE – West Shore Fishing Museum welcomes the public to visit the indoor/outdoor homestead museum that focuses on the commercial fishing history of the West Shore of Green Bay.
Admission is free. Hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays or by appointment. The museum is adjacent to Bailey Park at N5146 M-35, 15 miles north of Menominee.
The museum has a restored home, two authentic display outbuildings, six fishing vessels in two pavilions, a mile of trails near the bay, gardens and grounds, and a unique vintage gift shop. Leashed dogs are welcome.
