HOUGHTON — Snowboarding is coming back to downtown Houghton after 10-year absence.

Jibba Jabba, a pro/amateur freestyle snowboarding event in which riders perform tricks down Huron Street is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18.

All are welcome to cheer on Jibba Jabba’s guest riders as they compete in the Jibba Jabba pro event at 6 p.m. Eastern time. Spectating will be on both sides of the Huron Street course and all the way down and around the pier.

Other riders willing to sign a waiver can hit the course from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 19.
