Wisconsin man wins Sagola side-by-side drawing

CHANNING — Lucas Winchowky of Mukwonago, Wis., is the winner of a 2022 Polaris 570 Ranger side-by-side in a raffle conducted by the Sagola Township Sportsmen’s Club.
The drawing for the winner is held at noon on the second day of the club’s annual gun show the second weekend in February.
Lucas said he purchased five tickets from the LaBranch Tavern while attending a family gathering in the area.
“I have not won anything since like sixth grade, but I figured it was a donation going to a good cause, knowing that the club has hunters education and other youth programs,” ” he said.
The club uses the funds raised from this event to provide an annual scholarship to local graduating seniors pursuing an education in the wildlife or conservation field.
Businesses that sold tickets for the fundraiser included Ace of Clubs, Alpha Brewery, Cuculi’s Bar, Crystal Fresh Market, Da Hardwood Store, Dickinson County Fair, Hardcore Outfitters, Jake’s R&R Tire, LaBranch Tavern, LC’s Tavern, Mich-I-Aho Resort, Midtown Bait and Tackle, Nordic Grocery, Northstar Bar, Randville Bar, Ravens Nest, Sagola BP Mini Mart, Solbergs Supper Club, Silver Lake Resort, Sommers Sausage Shop, US2 Rentals, Way Dam Bar, and Westman Precision.
The STSC would also like to thank those who purchased tickets and the many club members who purchased and sold tickets to make this event possible.
