SAGOLA — Sagola Township Sportsmen’s Club in Channing will host a hunter education field day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19.

To register, a student must first have completed an approved online course. Once completed, students must register through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources website.

Class size is limited to 30 students and registration is on a “first come, first served” basis.

The Sagola Township Sportsmen’s Club conducts two hunter education sessions annually, in April and August. The club has eight of the nine certified Michigan hunter safety instructors in Dickinson County.
