Courage Incorporated to hold UP fundraiser April 13

ISHPEMING — Courage Incorporated is holding a community fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Eastern time Saturday, April 13, at River Rock Lanes and Banquet Center in Ishpeming.

The event is open to the public and tickets are $10 per person at the door — or free for ages 6 and under. The fundraiser will include a spaghetti dinner, over $7,000 in prize drawings, door prizes, and more.

Proceeds will go towards helping Courage Incorporated provide free all-inclusive outdoor excursions for physically disabled individuals and veterans, as well as those living with chronic or terminal illness.

Since 2016, Courage Incorporated has been helping people with different abilities to get into the woods and get on the water. Their programs are free for participants and programs include camping, fishing, boating, canoe/kayaking, ice fishing, hiking, outdoor cooking and more.

Courage Incorporated provides all of the equipment, food, and manpower needed to help give people an outdoor experience they won’t soon forget.

Courage Incorporated is an all-volunteer organization. Funds raised go directly towards programs, equipment, and operations and not towards any salary or wages.
