Elizabeth ‘Betty’ D. Lindeman

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Elizabeth “Betty” D. Lindeman, 90, of Green Bay, passed away on Aug. 17, 2023, at Woodside Lutheran Home.

She was born on Feb. 10, 1933, to Theodore and Helen (Broniszewski) Petersoan in Channing.

Betty married Warren “Potchy” Lindeman on Aug. 4, 1951, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Channing.

In addition to being a homemaker she spent time as a rural mail carrier.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.

Betty and Potchy spent many years enjoying winters in Florida and Alabama.

Betty is survived by her loving daughters, Lori Thiry and Rita (Mark) Belongia; son Gary (Deena) Lindeman; brother David Peterson; grandsons Sam (Meghan) Belongia and Ward Lindeman; granddaughters Ekaterina Lindeman and Andrea Thiry; great-granddaughters Quinn, Zoey and Mia Belongia; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren “Potchy”; father Theodore Peterson; mother Helen Peterson; sister Anita Parent; granddaughter Katie Beth Thiry.

Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Per Betty’s wishes, private family services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.

Interment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
