WAUCEDAH TOWNSHIP — Susan Beth Gleason, 79, of Waucedah Township, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at her home.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1944, in Lansing, Mich. the daughter of the late Vivian (Crum) Fletcher.

Susan graduated from Ottawa High School in 1963. She was married to John Gleason for over 40 years.

In her early years she worked for the airlines, wholesales, but her life passion was antiques, especially American depression glass. Susan was an antique dealer most of her life, her business was Shaker Nation and she sold antiques throughout the Midwest.

She was a Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed going to her cottage and loved the heritage of the Upper Peninsula.

Susan is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Cathleen Carrigan of Grand Rapids, Mich.; sister, Connie (Michael) Gall of Grand Rapids; brother Martin Hale, of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ann Fuller.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Gates.

According to Susan’s wishes private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions maybe made in Susan’s name to St. Jude’s Hospital.
