Trial postponed for Kingsford man accused of sexual conduct

IRON MOUNTAIN — The jury trial for a Kingsford man accused of having sexual contact with a 9-year-old girl has been postponed.
David James Streckert, 43, now will go to trial in Dickinson County Circuit Court on Sept. 24 through 27, rather than May 7 through 10 on three counts of criminal sexual conduct-second degree, a 15-year felony.
The sexual contact reportedly happened between May and July 2017 in Kingsford, according to the criminal complaint.
