Sheriff: Florence school ‘swatted’ with bomb, active shooter threat

FLORENCE, Wis. — Authorities had to evacuate the Florence County middle/high school building Friday after a bomb and active shooter threat was called into the school, officials said. School personnel reported the threat to Florence County 911 about 10:25 a.m., according to a news release from Sheriff Teresa Chrisman.
