Linda Cook

NORWAY — Linda Lee (Pietrantonio) Cook, 74, of Norway, died unexpectedly from suffering with primary progressive aphasia and dementia, on March 16, 2025, at her home in Norway. She was born Jan. 10, 1951, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of John and Shirley (Arvey) Pietrantonio. Linda married Terry Cook on Dec. 23, 2005, in Iron Mountain. She loved to camp, ride motorcycles, golf, singing and kept a meticulous house and yard. Linda lit up a room with her smile and with humor. IRON RIVER — Catherine J. Eskildsen, 95, of Iron River, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Iron River Care Center. A celebration of Catherine’s life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements by the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.

FLORENCE, Wis. — Robert “Bob” Decker, 88, of Florence, Wis., passed away Feb. 26, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wis. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, from 10 until 10:30 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Military honors will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Queen of Peace Church in Kingsford. Rev. Fr. Michael Woempner will officiate.

PEMBINE, Wis. — Lois F. (Helander) Kidd, longtime resident of the Pembine area, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her home. A visitation for Lois will be held on Saturday March 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. A 6 p.m. service will follow officiated by Rev. Nicole A.M. Collins.
