CRYSTAL FALLS – Roland Gordon Kennedy, 81, of Crystal Falls, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Optalis Health and Rehabilitation, Kingsford, Mich. He was born on July 9, 1943, in Crystal Falls, to the late Holgar and Loretta (LaPlante) Fagerstrom. He was raised in Crystal Falls and graduated from Crystal Falls High School, class of 1961. After high school, he attended Northern Michigan University and earned his bachelor of arts degree. He enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam.
