Joan was born Jan. 5, 1926, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of Sol and Evelyn (LaForge) Beauparlant. She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Iron Mountain High school with the class of 1944. On June 21, 1947 Joan married Louis Pucci at St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church.
