Illinois defeated Wisconsin 10-0 on Sunday to claim the Central Region Junior Baseball Tournament championship in Midland, while Michigan representative Negaunee placed third. Negaunee had qualified for the Little League Juniors (ages 13-14) regional tournament by claiming the state championship in a tourney hosted by Iron Mountain North Little League. Forest Park athletics meeting set for Thursday

CRYSTAL FALLS  — The Forest Park athletic code meeting for all sports for the 2026-27 school year will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the school cafeteria.
