Fish kills may be common during thaw

MARQUETTE —After ice and snow cover melt on Michigan lakes this spring, it may be more likely for people to discover dead fish or other aquatic animals. Big Shooters 4-H launches 2024 season at Marshfield

FLORENCE, Wis. — Florence County 4-H Big Shooters attended the first shoot of the year for Wisconsin, taking numerous awards at Marshfield. Seventy-three of Wisconsin’s top shooters attended. Seven local shooters from Dickinson and Florence counties participated in various age categories and disciplines. The team’s youngest shooter was Jonas Eloranta of Florence County.
