EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — Trees for Tomorrow Environmental Education Center is seeking high school classes in Wisconsin and surrounding states to attend its multi-school programs for high school students. Trees for Tomorrow offers overnight, outdoor learning experiences for kindergarten through 12th-grade school groups throughout the Midwest. Wisconsin extends comment period on wolf management

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is extending the public review and comment period for its draft Wolf Management Plan. The review period will be extended to Feb. 28 to allow more time for the public to review the details of the plan and share their feedback. Pheasant numbers boosted for holiday hunts

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced the department will stock pheasant at 25 state properties in central and southern Wisconsin next week to increase hunting opportunities throughout the holiday season. Wisconsin bear and turkey hunt applications due; ice fishing begins

IRON MOUNTAIN — Today is the deadline to submit applications for Wisconsin’s 2023 black bear and spring turkey hunts. For either species, hunters can apply for harvest authorizations or purchase preference points toward future drawings at GoWild.wi.gov or through an authorized license agent.
