FELCH TOWNSHIP — Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center and the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department will provide COVID-19 drive-through testing from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at the North Dickinson County Elementary School, W6588 M-69 in Felch Township.

Drive-through testing only will be available to those who are preregistered and screened in advance by calling toll-free to 844-947-4854 to schedule an appointment. Participants must remain in their vehicle during the appointment and will be tested from the convenience of their vehicle.

For preregistration, a representative will ask callers a few screening questions and for some personal information, including their consent for treatment. Once completed, an appointment for the drive-through test will be scheduled. Additionally, individuals will need to provide the color, make and model of their vehicle for identification purposes.

The COVID-19 test being used is a nasal cavity swab that only takes a few minutes to complete. Currently, test results are returned in about a week. Drive-through testing will be schedule on a first-come, first-served basis.
