Florence Parish to host ‘Worship in the Park’
FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence Parish invites members and visitors to the annual “Worship in the Park” at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Keyes Lake Park pavilion. Bill Fleming, a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, will lead the service. Organizers suggest attendees bring a lawn chair for more comfortable seating. They hope everyone will join them for worship and enjoy a time of fellowship, coffee and refreshments. IC Genealogical Society meets Thursday
CASPIAN — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Iron County Historical Museum in Caspian. Members are to note the change in meeting venue. The group will view and discuss the “Roots Run Deep” farm exhibit at the museum. The special exhibit will be on display throughout August and will conclude with “A Day on the Farm” on Saturday, Sept. 5.
