IRON MOUNTAIN — Jim and Sharon Frievalt of Iron Mountain celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on Aug. 3. They eloped in love in 1951 with a private ceremony in Waukegon, Ill. with Jerry Nokes and Maryann (Costa) Santini in attendance. They returned to Iron Mountain and surprised their parents with their news and returned to Milwaukee to make their home. Eventually they settled back in the Iron Mountain-Kingsford area, where they raised their three children, sons Randy and Kevin, and daughter, Vickie Stephenson. Jim and Sharon recognized their anniversary privately on Aug. 3.
